Repairs and Restoration
Adam is a skilled and experienced professional who can take care of any repair and restoration needs for your guitar or other fretted instrument.
You can trust Adam to handle any instrument with care and attention, and to deliver high-quality results at fair prices. You are welcome to contact Adam anytime to discuss your options and get a free consultation and quote. Adam can do anything from changing strings to wiring pickups to restoring instruments.
Adam’s rate is only £30 per hour plus parts. You will be happy with Adam’s service and your instrument’s condition.
Setups
Adam offers various levels of setup
A basic setup is £45 and includes new strings, clean, intonation check and adjustment where possible, action adjusted where possible. Ideal if you’ve just picked up a new guitar and want to get it playing.
A restring is £15 and includes a new set of strings, any issues regarding playability will be noted, but not addressed.
Further levels of setup are available including recrowning frets, refrets and nut and saddle replacements.
Refinishing
Adam currently only offers French polish refinishing and general touch up (chip repairs etc). But please check back later in the year for some interesting developments and hopefully full refinishing of all guitars and all finishes.
