Each soundboard is carefully selected and of the highest quality. The tops are braced in a traditional fan brace, in a configuration meticulously designed by A.S Dean for maximum projection and clarity.

Back and sides are made from selected Indian Rosewood, Maple or Black Walnut as standard. Each set is carefully selected for quality and tone. Other species can be selected upon commission of a custom instrument.

Classical guitar necks are made from Spanish Cedar (Cedrela). Maple is preferred for the Model P steel string. The necks are made in the traditional Spanish heel method. Fingerboards are made from the highest quality Ebony. Classical headstocks are shaped in a traditional Torres pattern and are pierced as standard.

Decorative elements are a key part of what makes a guitar truly yours. Upon commissioning a custom guitar, you can work with A.S Dean to choose colour combinations and other decorative elements for your guitar.

The workshop is kept in a controlled environment of between 40%-60% relative humidity. This ensures maximum stability and longevity of your guitar.
